About
I have been woodworking on and off for most of my life. My father got me interested in it at a very young age. I was born in 1967. The earliest proof I have of my woodworking, is a totem piece for a totem pole when my father and I were in the YMCA Indian guides in ’75. This is a piece that I remember working on.
My Grandmother was a woodcarver who started in her 80’s. When she passed away, I am the only Grandchild that is a woodworker, so naturally I inherited her carving stuff. My father was also a turner.
I am new to carving (within the last year and a half). I look at wood and can see an object in them. I have a lot of my stuff on LumberJocks.com/rustic. If interested in purchasing some item, let me know and I will let you know the price.

good evening. I noticed your maple and mahogany cutting board on another website that you made several years ago. I’m curious if the cutting board has held up. there was a lot of concern whether or not the mahogany was too soft and maple too hard for them to possibly fight each other while expanding and contracting. If you had to do it again would you? Thanks for your help and good job!

As far as I know there has been no problem with it and yes I would do it again. Thank you for the compliment
